Take A Look At The Gallery Dept. x ASICS GT-2160

As far as sneaker collaborations go, ASICS has had an awe-inspiring year so far, having already worked with the likes of Bodega, Dime, Cecilie Bahnsen, and more on some of their most popular silhouettes.

It looks as though LA-based brand Gallery Dept. is up next for a collab, joining forces with ASICS to put their spin on the GT-2160 model. This collaboration has been confirmed by images recently surfaced online, showcasing the duo’s branding on the insoles and uppers in Gallery Dept’s signature yellow hue. Other images have also revealed that this iteration of the ASICS GT-2160 will also feature black, blue, and silver hits. Rumors are beginning to circulate about the price tag of this collab; as you may remember, an initial unofficial Gallery Dept. x ASICS GEL-Lyte III surfaced a little while ago, which featured custom hand-painted graphics by the LA-based brand’s founder Josué Thomas, which retailed for almost £500. The GT-2160 is also rumored to feature hand-painted graphics, which could mean that it will sell for a similar price, so, if you’re after a pair, maybe start saving.

The Gallery Dept. X ASICS GT-2160 is set to be released in the coming months. Stay tuned here for more information!
