New York City-based label 18 East and Vans have been working together behind the scenes for the past two years carefully constructing their first collaboration, which sees the skate-ready Half Cab model arrive in three brand-new colorways, blue, brown, and sail.
These three iterations of the Half Cab were created to replicate the different parts of Anaheim, which references the moment when 18 East’s creative director Antonio Ciongoli was first introduced to skateboarding. Since then, Antonio has never looked back, and now 18 East and Vans’ brand-new collection perfectly blends 18 East’s unique history with Vans skating background. Each pair of Half Cab’s playfully highlights the amount of time taken to create this collection. They also boast a debossed suede panel on the ankle collar, which features an intricate textile pattern inspired by 18 East’s popular Gorecki cargo pants.
After almost two and a half years, the 18 East x Vans Half Cab collection has finally arrived! The three colorways should be available for purchase now via 18east.co and at 18 East’s Elizabeth St. studio in New York City.
