Over the past couple of years, Advisory Board Crystals have continued to take the fashion scene by storm with their collections, pushing the boundaries on ready-to-wear pieces with intricate design elements. And now, the LA-based brand is collaborating with Vans, bringing a whole new energy to their iconic SK8-Hi model.
Arriving in the iconic black and white colorway, the Advisory Board Crystals x Vans SK8-Hi takes everything you know and love about the silhouette and takes it to the next level with an extremely unique design. The upper of this collab features a blend of suede, ripstop nylon, leather, and mesh for a super-premium feel, with ABC’s logo taking place next to Vans’ branding on the tongue. The main attraction of this collab is that the left and right feet don’t match. The right features a predominately black base with cream and white overlays, whilst the left is reversed, combining a clean white base with black overlays. Both shoes complete their design with a yellowed midsole. ABC’s logo can also be found on the lace tag, whilst Vans’ iconic logos such as the Jazz Stripe on the midfoot and the iconic “Off The Wall” text in red on the sole return, as always.
