The Simpsons and adidas are back at it again with another collaboration, decorating three silhouettes by the brand with Three Stripes with designs inspired by the legendary TV show. The “Intro Pack” by The Simpsons and adidas will include playful iterations of the Forum Low, adiFOM Superstar, and NMD G1.
First off, we’re taking a look at the adidas NMD G1, which features a colorway inspired by the iconic family man Homer Simpson. Homer has appeared in or inspired a number of collaborations with adidas, and this latest one may be the boldest yet. The NMD G1 is decorated in a vibrant yellow hue, paying homage to the character’s design, whilst Homer’s head peeks out from behind the lateral 3-Stripes which are covered in a light brown suede material.
Next up is the adidas adiFOM Superstar, which features a design inspired by the clouds in the TV show’s iconic intro. Constructed with foam derived from sugarcane, this adidas adiFOM Superstar is finished with yellow accents on the heels, along with co-branding on the insoles.
Finally, the adidas Forum Low from this collection features a design inspired by the beloved characters’ living room. Dressed in a combination of premium suede, leather, corduroy, and chenille on the upper, this adidas Forum Low features embroidered detailing paying homage to the family’s dog Santas Little Helper, and a sailboat painting, a recurring backdrop in the show, is located on the tongue.
The Simpsons x adidas “Intro Pack” is set to be released in the coming months although, at the time of writing, there is no official release date as of yet. Stay tuned for more info!
