Boston-based retailer Bodega has racked up an impressive portfolio of collabs over the years, having previously joined forces with some of the biggest names in the game. This time, Bodega & ASICS have linked up to introduce a rugged iteration of the GEL-NYC.
Dubbed the “After Hours,” Bodega’s take on this design draws inspiration from rugged textures akin to barbed wire and chain link fences. The upper combines a breathable mesh base with both soft and hairy suede overlays, while the grey, brown, purple, green, and red colorway suggests that this collab is built for nighttime activities. Finally, co-branding features on the heel sides and shimmering GEL inserts, whilst the extra laces provided all match certain aspects of the shoe.
The Bodega x ASICS GEL-NYC “After Hours” is set to be released on the 29th of September exclusively through Bodega’s online platform and in-store, so mark your calendars as you won’t want to miss out on this one!
