After yet another extremely successful year, ASICS is set to close out 2023 in style, with a brand-new iteration of the Gel-NYC which highlights its deep roots in Japanese heritage with an anime-inspired design.
Following up on their previous anime release which saw the iconic Gel-Lyte III pay tribute to the illustrious Copycat Shinobi last year, this time around ASICS have dived deep into the extensive Naruto universe, creating a special edition of the Gel-NYC with details referencing the iconic shinobi protagonist himself, Naruto and his popular “Sage Mode,” a form that allowed him to tap into phenomenal power. Equipped with a predominantly black upper complimented by hits of orange, the Naruto x ASICS Gel-NYC features design elements such as a scroll-inspired lace lock and the proud Konoha emblem on the dubrae, along with the Uzumaki clan logo on the tongue, while ASICS branding on the lateral sidewall completes the design.
The Naruto x ASICS Gel-NYC is set to be released on the 11th of December via retailer Courir, both online and in-store.
