Over the past few years, the Nike Dunk has risen to levels none of us could have predicted, becoming one of the most popular sneakers worldwide. Although we love seeing brand-new colorways emerge, it’s nice to see an OG return now and then, and in 2024, we could be in for a treat.
The Nike Dunk Low “Ultraman” is rumored to return at some point next year. This retro Nike Dunk Low previously arrived in 1999 as part of the Co.jp series of Japan-exclusive releases. The rare grey and red colorway featured on this sneaker resembles the popular Japanese superhero Ultraman, although there is no official connection to the character on this Dunk Low.
As for now, there are no official images or details about this rumored release, although we do know that it’ll be very similar to the OG from 99, unlike the previous callback to the “Ultraman” Nike Dunk Low back in 2011, which saw a similar looking Dunk appear in pre-distressed form. As we’d mentioned at the time of writing, this is just a rumor for now, although we wouldn’t be surprised to see it return, as we all know how much Nike loves to reintroduce a classic.
