The Nike Air Force 1 has always been a favorite for collaborations and contemporary adaptions. Originally a basketball shoe in the early ’80s, this AF1 takes on another Nike staple, the Air Command Force. The bulky sneaker from 1991 is a cult classic worn by basketball player David Robinson. Equipped with inflatable Air-Fit technology in the collar, the Air Command Force allowed you to adjust the fit by pumping up the ankle of the shoe. Now, Nike pays homage to the revolutionary design by adding the signature colorway and branding to the Air Force 1.
