Known to sneakerheads and art collectors alike, Futura, also known as Futura 2000, continues his journey that once kicked off as a graffiti artist. Since the early 2000s Futura has been a go-to collaborator for Nike, creating some of the most iconic sneakers ever, such as the Nike Dunk High Pro SB “FLOM.” And you know what, we have good news, it looks like a new Nike SB Dunk Low x Futura will arrive in 2024.
Not much is known about the collab, except an image by Jahan Loh that appeared in September. While Futura himself commented on Masterchefian’s repost of the image with ” GENERAL RELEASE,” it’s without a doubt that this won’t be an easy cop.
Designed with a graffiti-inspired multi-color upper, the low-top Nike SB blends mesh and canvas while featuring Galaxy-like accents, grey overlays, and Futura’s signature on the side heel. Another classic feature is the FL branding, which can be spotted on the other pair in the image. The sole unit consists of a white midsole with contrasting blue stitching, resting atop an icy translucent outsole.
For now, we don’t know when the shoe will be released, but as Futura continues to drop hints about the shoe’s release next year, we suspect a release in 2024.
