When it comes to adidas, few people can rival Liam Gallagher in their love for the German footwear brand. Liam, former frontman of the English band Oasis, has provided his creative vision for the adidas SPZL line since 2019, helping create several unforgettable collections.
Liam Gallagher is now set to introduce his third official collaboration with adidas after the curator of the SPZL line, Gary Aspden, took to Instagram to announce the LG2 SPZL “Bottle Green.” This collaboration represents everything that Gallagher knows and loves about adidas. The history of the model, the subtle details, and the minimal yet effective colorway on this LG2 SPZL are all inspired by vintage adidas designs. The upper features a crisp white leather base complimented by off-white suede panels at the forefoot and heel. Hits of green are located on the Three Stripes and heel counter, while the retro gum rubber outsole completes the design, adding to the nostalgia. Finally, blue branding is placed on the tongue and features Liam’s face in the style of adidas’ iconic Stan Smith badge.
