Sneaker culture was different in the mid-‘00s, with the rise of collaborations the market was in a fresh state 20ish years ago. One of the many artists who worked with Nike during that time was New York-based artist STASH, a graffiti legend who blessed several pairs with his hues of blue and grey.
In 2006 the Brooklyn-based STASH was part of the “Artist Series” with Nike, which brought us the iconic release of the Nike Air Max 95 x Stash, a clean but eye-catching take on the skeleton-inspired retro running sneaker. As rumors spread, it looks like Nike and Stash are now working again on a new AM95 for Holiday 2024, however, we have no further information about the design, colorway, or features of the sneaker.
Take your time to get too excited, as the Stash x Nike Air Max 95 collaboration is one year away.
