After working on two previous collaborations, WTAPS and New Balance have united yet again for a clean take on the New Balance 990v6.
Adding to the impressive previous line-up, which was the 992 in 2020 and the 990v2 in 2021, the New Balance 990v6 x WTAPS shows off an evolution of both brands while keeping it classy and simple. Crafted with suede, nubuck, and mesh on the upper, the collaboration includes an oversized “USA” branding on the rear and co-branding on the insole; the rest of the silhouette is kept clean and less “collab” focused. Equipped with ENCAP midsole with FuelCell for soft cushioning and energy return, the New Balance 990v6 x WTAPS sports “WTAPS” branding on the heel tab replacing the US flag.
The release is set to be on August 25th via the WTAPS homepage, a later release through other retailers is yet to be announced.
