As part of this year’s “Grey Day,” which was created to celebrate the transcendent nature of grey and the enduring legacy of the brand’s heritage, New Balance introduces the “Moon Daze” pack, putting an outer-world spin on some classic models such as the fan favorite 550, 580, 9060 and MORE TRAIL. The purpose of this pack is to look to the future and beyond our world to consider the possibilities, such as: What if New Balance was the first sneaker on the moon?
Alongside those releases, New Balance also introduces the MADE in USA* capsule, which outfits the 990v4, 990v6, 996, and 998, in grey hues as well as a “Grey Day” themed apparel collection, featuring short-sleeve tees, a hoodie and crew neck, dress, shorts, and sweatpants, all curated to compliment those space-ready sneakers.
“Grey Day” has been an important event in New Balance fans’ calendars ever since it began, and we’re sure that this will only increase as the color grey has become a fundamental part of the brand’s identity.
