Back in January, attendees at Paris Fashion Week were treated to a first glimpse of a brand-new collaboration between Junya Watanabe and New Balance. This collab involved two different colorways of the 650 model, and ever since we first laid eyes on them, we couldn’t wait to hear about an official release.
That time is now upon us, as the Junya Watanabe x New Balance 650 collection is set to arrive on the 6th of October. As we previously mentioned, this highly anticipated collab includes two colorways, with one pair featuring a stealthy all-black look with a subtle touch of dark grey on the tongue tag, combined with a blend of leather and mesh on the upper. The second pair also features a sleek black base, while a clean white midsole and a combination of leather and suede on the upper complete the design. Both pairs of this collab feature New Balance’s classic “N” logo on the sidewall, along with Junya Watanabe branding on the tongue and heel counter.
The Junya Watanabe x New Balance 650 collection is set to be released on the 6th of October at New Balance stores and select retailers.
