Joe Freshgoods’ New Balance releases have been a hit in recent years, and now it’s time for the next release inspired by Belly from Hype Williams.
Released in 1998, the movie “Belly” has become a classic, and inspired genres as well as subcultures around the world. The latest who draw inspiration from the movie is none other than Joe Freshgoods, who dipped his three latest New Balance 990v4 trio in colors referencing the ‘90s flick. While the black and white silhouettes reference the feel and vibe of the movie, the Keisha Blue” blue sneaker nods to the first scene at a club in NYC, where the whole club is filled with a blue hue. All sneakers have been made with a suede upper and mesh base and are dubbed “Intro,” “Outro,” and “Keisha Blue” linking the collection to the film.
