Jordan Brand is set to add to its impressive selection of golfing models with the release of a brand-new Air Jordan 1 High built to improve your handicap. Joining forces once again with Eastside Golf, this AJ1 is set to be released as part of the black-owned company’s “1961” collection, the year that the PGA allowed non-white golfers to compete for the first time.
This Air Jordan 1 is set to feature an all-leather upper; the mudguard, eyestays, quarter panel, and collar are covered in black, complimented by rich green leather on the toebox, heel overlay, and collar overlays. Eastside Golf’s logo is featured on the Swooshes, while the tongue features the company’s signature golf player logo. The classic Jordan Wings logo is on the lateral ankle flap, covered in an eye-catching gold finish. Finally, the word “Change” has been etched onto the right heel of the golf cleat, while the left foot has “1961” incorporated on it.
All of these luxurious features are paired with a sail midsole, adding a retro aesthetic to this golf cleat. The Eastside Golf Air Jordan 1 High is set to be released in early September. Keep it locked here for more info on the release.
