Originally worn by John McEnroe on the tennis court back in the 80s, the Nike Attack is flying high right now after making its long-awaited return earlier this year. Nike enrolled one of their most frequent collaborators, Travis Scott, to help amplify the return of the Mac Attack, and they’re now set to join forces with Social Status to unleash four different colorways of the beloved retro sneaker.
First up is the “Silver Linings” colorway, which will serve as a component of Social Status “The 1st & 15th” story, which focuses on encouraging others to make the most out of every opportunity presented to you and making choices to shape your future.
This iteration features a soft mesh upper with cracked leather overlays, dressed in white and off-white for a clean summer-ready look, complimented by hits of silver on the laces, collars, and lower heel overlays. The Swooshes can be worn away to reveal a soft suede material covered in a light pink hue, and finally, Social Status branding is located on the tongues, while the insoles are printed with the cities that have their retail locations.
The Social Status x Nike Mac Attack “Silver Linings” is set to be released on July 14th and will be followed by three more colorways.
