Deion Sanders Shows Off PE Version Of The Nike DT ’96

After Colorado coach Deion “Prime Time” Sanders inked his deal with the University, won his opening match against TCU, and signed a new partnership with Nike, it is pretty safe to say that some of his iconic sneakers will make a comeback.

If you are not familiar with Deion Sanders, he was the sensation of the ’80s and ’90s, making an impact in American Football and Baseball and having his own Nike Air Diamond Turf line. Now, as Coach Prime reunites with Nike, every sneaker fan can get excited as we expect some classic shoes to make a comeback. With that being said, Deion now took to Instagram a special version of his classic DT ’96, featuring a lightweight REACT performance midsole, opting for a breathable mesh upper, perfect for gym sessions and hot days. Equipped with a signature midfoot strap, the mid-top shoe is seen in three different colorways.

Will there be a future release of the sneaker? Not for now, but who knows? With his cleats making a comeback in 2022, it’s far from off to believe that Nike will add these (or similar) silhouettes to a shelve near you soon.
