Paris-based Afro-vegan restaurant Jah Jah and Salomon are set to reunite and collab yet again this year. This time, they’re updating the ACS Pro with a design that celebrates African and Caribbean communities in Paris.
Jah Jah’s founders, Coralie Jouhier and Daquisiline Gomis’ goal, is to unite communities and share narratives by reinventing Caribbean and African cuisines, and their second collaboration with Salomon showcases this and more. The design of this ACS Pro is inspired by the “Kankourang,” an initiatory rite hailing from Senegal, Gambia, and Guinea-Bissau, and features a dark brown base with black hues on the upper and midsole. Vibrant red, yellow, and green hits compliment the predominantly dark-colored upper, while Salomon branding on the sidewall completes the design.
The Jah Jah x Salomon ACS Pro is set to be released on the 26th of September exclusively at Jah Jah Studio. However, a second release will commence on the 28th of September via Salomon’s online store.
