This year, as part of the Air Jordan Wings Program, Jordan Brand will release an Air Jordan 2 dressed in a “White/Malachite/Black” colorway. The Jordan Wings program was created back in 2015 and is inspired by MJ’s legacy of greatness and commitment to education, helping committed students realize their true potential without the stress of college payments or loans.
The AJ2 arrives with a clean leather upper, complemented by side panels reminiscent of a pair of wings covered in a feather print. Green accents feature on the midsole, while a blacked-out sole and laces add contrast. A translucent heel completes the look; other features include an extra pair of laces with the words “Power” and “Belief” printed on the tips, and an “H” on the heels and insoles, paying homage to the founder of the national Nike youth movement, Believe To Achieve’s own, Howard “H” White.
