Renowned skateboarder Maite Steenhoudt has been on adidas’ team for quite some time now, and they’re back with a brand-new collab, building on their previous successful Samba ADV project.
This time around, Steenhoudt tackles the Adimatic Mid, which has gained extreme popularity due to its bulky retro design. The Maite Steenhoudt x adidas Adimatic Mid “Victory Blue” combines a rich deep blue suede on most of the upper with hits of light purple on the iconic Three Stripes and on the inside collar, followed by clean white chunky laces. Embroidered adidas branding can be located on the heel counter and lateral sidewall, while Maite Steenhoudt’s name covers the tongue. A clean white midsole and a semi-translucent outsole that features lightning graphics complete this sneaker design.
The Maite Steenhoudt x adidas Adimatic Mid “Victory Blue” is set to be released on the 23rd of September on the adidas website and at select retailers, both online and in-store.
