During Paris Fashion Week, we were treated to several first looks at upcoming sneaker releases, and one of the pairs that caught our eye the most was a potential new collab between Salehe Bembury and New Balance on the 1906R.
Bembury has joined forces with New Balance numerous times over recent years, adopting his innovative style on models such as the New Balance 2002R, New Balance 993, New Balance 574, and New Balance 990v2. It now looks like the duo has created a vibrant edition of the New Balance 1906R, with the upper featuring a multi-colored design over the soft mesh base, starting off with a bright yellow toe box that transitions into a vibrant orange color in the center that also covers the “N” logos, which then turns to a crimson red across the heel. Webbed overlays and hits of metallic silver complete the look of what seems to be the next project by Bembury and NB. Although there isn’t a confirmed release date for this pair, Salehe treated us to clear images of the New Balance 1906R through his Instagram page, meaning we can start preparing those bright and bold fits ahead of the release.
