British designer Craig Green and adidas have enjoyed a fruitful partnership over the years, introducing innovative iterations of some of the most iconic models by the German sportswear brand.
The duo has linked up once again to put a futuristic twist on the legendary adidas Stan Smith with the introduction of two new versions of the model; the CG BOOST STAN, which features the aid of Boost technology, and the CG SPLIT STAN, which cuts the model straight down the middle. Usually, we see Boost used in the midsole and/or outsole to provide extra comfort and support. However, for the CG BOOST STAN, Green has constructed almost the entire upper out of Boost, showcasing his unique design technique. This model is set to arrive in three colorways: White, Black, and Silver, and will feature Craig Green-branded midsole plaques. As for the CG SPLIT STAN, this model features a much more classic aesthetic, apart from the unmissable split down the center of the silhouette. This will also arrive in three colorways, White, Black, and Khaki, and will feature three-dimensional Stan Smith branding, complete with tonal rubber midsoles.
The Craig Green x adidas Stan Smith Pack is set to arrive on the 14th of September via adidas and select retailers.
