Much has been written about Air Max culture in recent weeks. With Air Max Day just in the rearview mirror, the AM1 festivities continue. One of the names popping up quite frequently, calling for a retro release, is the Nike Air Max 1 “Chili.” Originally released in 2003, the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette returns 20 years after its original due day in an almost 1 to 1 look.

Crafted with a blend of breathable mesh and leather, the Nike Air Max 1 “Chili 2.0” has a White, University Red, Pure Platinum, and Black color scheme. The only difference to the original is the darker grey tone across the upper. We take it.
