This is our London

We had so much fun making a video homage of Sneakersnstuff’s local London area with the original crew members Mubi and Myriam to coincide with the launch of our latest Vans collaboration: The Sneakersnstuff x Vans ”London Pack”.

Mubi and Myriam dragged us around the Shoreditch area all weekend showing us many of their local spots where they eat, play and chill. Shoreditch is busy, vibrant and rich in local culture, there is always lots to experience and enjoy at any time of day or night. Next time you visit London be sure to swing by the Sneakersntuff store and follow just some of the routes Mubi and Myriam take you thru – you will not be disappointed!

Shoreditch High Street
Address: Shoreditch
Shoreditch High Street is transforming everyday, the local area has developed into one of the most attractive areas in London and is continuously being developed. The amount of people that come to the area for all different kinds of activities can now come and shop as well as drink, eat and see some very interesting sights. Near enough everything we have shared with you above is walking distance from Shoreditch High Street and you can just see you can spend a whole weekend here and not get bored or run out of things to do. Famous for the night life, the high street still offers some of the best bars and pubs and there are still some big parties that happen on the strip.

The NV Barbers
Address: 8 Kingsland Road
NV Barbers is run by Mehmet and his brothers. We can confidently say that this is the only place to get a full Turkish hair cut experience the guys at NV barbers are born and bred in Turkey and have been cutting hair for years – this is what they do and what they are known for. The experience is just incredible you get your hair cut, a very good shave and then to top it off a hot towel straight after, so relaxing, cleansing and most of all refreshing.

Clutch Chicken
Address: 4 Ravenscroft Street

When Jay Z and Beyonce are in town they shut the place down for themselves and their crew, just one of the famous couples favourite places to eat in London. Clutch is a small and very intimate restaurant tucked away just around the corner from Colombia Road, with an open kitchen you can see what the chefs are doing and also there is a great bar area around the back for private or open parties.

Clutch has made eating fried chicken a guilt free experience by using the finest grade groundnut oil to fry many of their chicken dishes. Aside from the fried chicken there are many other English sides that compliment the chicken tenders and on the bone dishes including the creamy coleslaw, Mother hen stuffing and Clutches chicken gravy. The Sneakersnstuff team always have a great night at Clutch, we’ve celebrated many birthdays there and long may that continue, the Clutch team always look after us which we always appreciate.

Shoreditch High Street Power League pitches
Address: Braithwaite Street
The Sneakersntuff team are all big fans of football and we have been very lucky to have won a few tournaments since we opened. The Shoreditch High Street football pitches is where we all meet up after work on a Sunday to have a friendly game with a few local businesses and friends. We usually play 7-aside but there are mainly 5-aside pitches to play on. The games are meant to be ‘friendly’ but we all get a little competitive as no one likes to lose a game.

Brick Lane
Address: Brick Lane

Brick Lane is one of London’s most famous and iconic streets and must see if you are ever in town – famous for being London’s Curry Mile and Vintage clothing haven you are never too far from some fine Indian cuisine and a Vintage gem. There is always something happening in the area, sample sales, exhibitions, pop up galleries and trade shows. The famous Crepe City sneaker exchange also happens in the famous Truman Brewery so never a dull day on the Lane.

Sunday Brick Lane comes to life – the whole street is shut down for pedestrians, it generally feels like the World comes out to share their local cuisine and dishes with the London locals and tourists, a great place to discover new flavours and dishes if you have never tasted them before. The Sunday team like to pop down on their lunch breaks to grab a lil something with a little flavour and switch it up every week, we like to share and see what we are into so we can plan the next weeks lunch.

Colombia Road Flower Market
Address: Colombia Road

One of the nicest things to do on a Sunday is pop down to the Colombia Road flower market. The Sneakersnstuff team usually take turns every week to walk down and pick some of the finest flower selections available, everyone has a very unique taste which works so well to keep the store looking different.

The Flower market is always full of exotic colours and smells with a mix of East London hustle and bustle the English banter is a highlight, all the flower stalls all have something unique and special to offer. Either go early or go late as it is near enough impossible to walk thru during the main part of the day. There are some great spots to eat and drink along the road and always interesting things to see and hear, with live bands and speakers.

House of Vans
Address: Arches 228–232 Station Approach Road
House of Vans is a pretty incredible space and idea as a whole, what a way to showcase the brand and allow people from all walks of life to get involved with the brand in so many different ways. We have a great relationship with Vans and have been invited on some of those very special nights. We can’t wait to throw our own Vans party there and maybe showcase a little something special there also.
