It’s been over 6 years since we last saw the iconic “Royal Blue” colorway feature on the Air Jordan 1. The original colorway that was part of MJ’s first-ever Nike release back in 1985 has been a true collector’s favorite that gets special treatment as it looks now.
After waiting for years, the wait is set to come to an end with the release of the Air Jordan 1 High “Royal Reimagined,” just like the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Lost and Found.” This updated version arrives as part of Jordan Brand’s Reimagined series, taking the leather base that was used on the OG and swapping it out for soft suede material. The color blocking stays faithful to the original, and other classic elements remain, such as the Jordan Wings logo on the ankle and Nike Air branding on the sole.
No official pictures or release date have been published, but it’s clear to see that the hype already exists, with a release coming at some stage in 2023.
