Zack Bia has been pushing the boundaries in the music industry and the sneaker world, previously releasing a F&F pair of ASICS Gel Kayano 14 and, together with Verdy, a Field Trip Recordings x Nike “Learn To Fly” Bomber Jacket, that brought attention to his name last year. This time around, Zack has put his innovative touch on the Nike Air Max Pulse, a new silhouette we were introduced to this past Air Max Day. This stealthy edition includes a futuristic aesthetic with a shroud covering the midfoot and is heavily inspired by CDJ’s referencing Zack’s time as a DJ. Coated in a monochrome shade that matches the color used on the jog wheels and pitch fades of a CDJ, this iteration also features other nods to a pair of decks with the press and play graphic on the midsole, silver-coated CH-1 and CH-2 on the heel and a reimagined AM logo at the tongue, finished with a special “Air Max ZB” logo. With no word yet on a release date or even whether this collab will get a public release, this is definitely one that you’ll want to keep your eye on.
