When Alexandre Arnault, Executive Vice President of Tiffany and son of LVMH Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, previewed a Tiffany Green Nike box on Instagram, word got out that the two American brands will join forces for a unique collaboration. Quickly it became clear that the model both brands were working on was a Nike Air Force 1 (not as one might have hoped for a Nike SB).

When we are already at it, the Nike SB reference obviously stems from the iconic Nike SB “Tiffany” Dunk by Diamond Supply Co.

The original Nike SB “Tiffany” Dunk Low

Air Force 1 x Tiffany & Co. “1837” is an homage to NYC. Inspired by the year Tiffany & Co. was founded in 1937, the timeless sneaker nods to both brand’s DNA, from 57th to 125th, the blacked-out low-top AF1, as well as Tiffany & Co, have their roots in the Big Apple and by collaborating on this iconic pair, they have merged their archives to deliver a statement for today’s street culture. Crafted with premium black suede with a Tiffany Blue® Swoosh and archival Tiffany logo on the tongue, the AF-1 x Tiffany & Co has Tiffany Blue®-accented elements, black rope laces, and three pairs of flat laces in Tiffany Blue®, yellow and white. Packed in a Nike x Tiffany Air Force 1 1837 co-branded box, the “iconic pair” boasts co-branded, laser-etched silver plates above each heel.
