A Brief Look at SNS x Reebok Question Mid Collaborations

Sneakersnstuff has a long-lasting history with Reebok, working on some of the most sought-after silhouettes of the brand in its history. After their first link-up in 2008 on the Reebok SNS 5000 reworking the classic Reebok ERS 5000, but that story is for another day, today we are focusing on the Reebok Question Mid. Allen Iverson’s first signature basketball sneaker was released in 1996 and named “The Question” since there were a lot of questions about AI being able to deliver all the expectations on him.

Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Question Mid ”The Crocus”

The first Reebok Question Mid x Sneakersnstuff, named after the big Question – Allen Iverson, is inspired by spring-flower blossoming in Sweden. The yellow and purple crocus is one of the first flowers to bloom after four months of dark winter, which inspired the colorway and suede construction. Perfect for spring weather, the Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Question Mid ”The Crocus” was released on March 20th, 2013, and is still today one of the most beloved (Lakers-favorite) Reebok sneakers.

Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Question Mid ”A Shoe About Nothing”

The second Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Question Mid,”A shoe about nothing,” was released on May 29th, 2013. Inspired by, well, nothing. Usually, a design has a reference, but for that collaboration, SNS left the drawing board blank, where the only important factor was a beautiful color combination, and that’s it. The idea was to add maybe a story afterward, but that didn’t add up either, so they just left it like it was, a great sneaker by Sneakersnstuff and Reebok.

Reebok Question Mid ”15 Stars”

As part of the  ”15 Stars” pack, Sneakersnstuff released the Reebok Question Mid ”15 Stars” inspired by the classic Hammarby basketball jersey, the local basketball team of Stockholm Södermalm. Crafted with a suede perforated upper in green, the shoe has a star pattern backed with hints of orange and smooth orange suede. The number 15 on the heel represents SNS’ 15 years in business and is a play with the old Hammarby Basketball logo. The Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Question Mid ”15 Stars” was released on the 12th of December, 2014.

SNS x Reebok Question Mid Lux

20 years after the original release of the Reebok Question, the brand asked SNS to celebrate the achievement with their own design. To commemorate one of Basketball’s most essential sneakers, SNS dressed the shoe in a luxurious design inspired by gifting luxury items to MVPs, high achievers, and people who have given their all to a cause. Crafted with ostrich-inspired premium leather, the shoe has an icy blue rubber outsole and SNS branding on heels and footbeds. Originally released on November 18th, 2016.
