Reebok Ventilator is celebrating 25 years this year and we are very proud to be a part of that celebration. We remember launching these shoes back in the 90’s as one of the best running shoes that had been put out there at that time.
Mankind is on the verge of wiping out all bees in the world? “So what?” you might ask. “I never liked bees anyways and honey is disgusting”. Well, first of all – honey is actually very tasty. And secondly, and so much more important – if all bees go instinct, so will all the trees, flowers and plants that need pollination do as well. And if all flowers, fruit trees and bushes dies out, then guess what… mankind might die out as well. So it is kind of like a big deal.
So Reebok and Sneakersnstuff decided to buy into a beehive from Bee Urban. Bee Urban is based in Stockholm, and the idea is to get people and companies to sponsor beehives up on rooftops in the city. In return, besides saving the planet, you also get the honey that is harvested from your beehive. We strongly encourage all of you to also pitch in and help save the bees.
The Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Ventilator “Bees & Honey” has a very neutral black upper. We are very happy with the quality of the leathers and suede that is on the shoe as they are both top level. Even the ballistic nylon on the toe box is premium. To point out the Bees & Honey there is a bee embroidered on the Hexalite logo on the back of the shoe, and the Hexalites are of course also honey colored. Subtle black tonal SNS logo embroidered on the side of the heel.
And as we mentioned, we saved bees and as a bonus we got honey. That honey will be tapped in hexalite shaped jars, co-branded with SNS and Reebok and will come as a complimentary gift to everyone that will buy a pair of our Ventilator.
