In anticipation of the launch of the Nike LunarCharge that releases tomorrow, November 18th, Sneakersnstuff have teamed up with Berlin based photographer Sina Lesnik to profile 3 inspiring, Berlin locals to get the low down on Sneakersnstuff’s newest city.
This shoot took place in the shell of the new Sneakersnstuff store (the old White Trash) which is set to open in December 2016. Be sure to follow @sneakersnstuff_berlin for the latest info regarding the opening.
Who are you and what do you do?
I’m Karo Rose. I do model stuff and my boyfriend and I own our brand Champagne Towers. I am also studying a course in management.
What means Berlin to you?
Berlin means to me multiplicity. I mean in which city are more opportunities doing whatever you wanna do then here in Berlin? You can do and be whoever you want to be.
Where would you take us for a good meal?
To my mums Russian kitchen.
What bar should we go to and why?
I’m not the type to go to bars but if my friends go we usually go to our favorite bar called ‘Magnet Bar’ at Rosenthaler Platz. Our friends work there and it’s kind of our place to be if we don’t know where to go. It’s good to have a bar where you know people, there are many advantages hehe.
What club would you take us to? What music do they play?
I don’t have a regular club. What i like is random party’s. afterparty’s, event-party’s, private party’s etc. And if i go there I like to dance to Trap and music from the 60s-2000.

I’m Kanu and I do a bunch of things. Right now I’m simply making money and travelling the world by being a flight attendant.
What means Berlin to you?
It is my home, so it means a lot!
Where would you take us for a good meal?
Chopstix & Dong Xuan Center, Halle 3. For those who know, know.
What bar should we go to and why?
To be honest I don’t like bars that much. Späti (Berlin’s late night stores) for the win!
What club would you take us to? What music do they play?
There is too many to choose! Good music, good vibes, no matter where – that’s my kind of club, so we would just see what the night has to offer.

My name is Mariama and I am a fashion management student.
What means Berlin to you?
I am from Berlin and I think no matter where I will go I will come back because Berlin is the place where I feel most comfortable. I know everything around here, I grew up here, my friends and family live here, it is my home!
What bar should we go to and why?
I really like going to Paloma bar and St Georg club. Good times!
Where can we get some good food?
I would take you to an OG Kebab Shop. Döner is very Berlin and I love a good Döner!
