Nike Air Max 90 – a classic re-stocked

I don’t think Nike realized what the future would hold for when they released Nike Air Max III 1990. Nike did not start calling their Air Max releases by the year they were released until 1996. Before that you had
Nike Air Max (now known as Nike Air Max 1) released 1987
Nike Air Stab 1988
Nike Air Max II (now known as Nike Air Max Light) in 1989
Nike Air Max III (now known as Nike Air Max 90) in 1990
Nike Air Max IV (now known as Nike Air Classic BW) in 1991
Nike Air 180 in 1991
Nike Air Max ST in 1992
Nike Air Max 270 (now known as Nike Air Max 93)
Nike Air Max2  1994
Nike Air Total Max (now known as Nike Air Max 95)
Nike Air Max 96
Nike Air Max 97
And I could go on and on. But I wanted to focus on the Nike Air Max 90 here. As it was released as Nike Air Max III in 1990 as the most cushioned Nike running shoe ever, the design was what brought it back to life in the year 2000. Nike did make some changes from the original, only to make it more comfortable for walking the streets.
And today, you will find a bunch of different Air Max 90 out there. The Air Max 90 Premium who has a little richer detailing and often (but not always) found in a leather upper. The Air Max 90 GS is really made for kids (GS = Grade School), but functionally you will not feel any difference. So if they fit you, you can wear it.
