This Saturday Chicago soul artist BJ the Chicago Kid was in Stockholm to play The Stockholm Jazz Festival. Sneakersnstuff was his first stop in town where he picked up the Raf Simmons x adidas Stan Smiths, the Air Jordan 3 Retro and the Nike Zoom Chazpuka. An avid sneaker collector he often choose comfort over anything else with a soft spot for track sneakers and New Balance 997s.
Time was tight due to his busy schedule but BJ aka Bryan James Sledge was still hyped and keen to talk about his signing to legendary record label Motown. Honoured to be part of the family he talked with grace about having the opportunity to share his music with the world.
We went to check Sledge’s live performance in the evening and we were blow away, backed only by a DJ and an electric guitar his Stockholm debut won over many hearts.
