This week saw adidas Originals take over the Louvre in Paris for two days of product launches and grid exploration all in the name of the DEERUPT, adidas’s brand new silhouette. Sneakersnstuff headed down to the French capital the two day event dedicated to learning about the grid structure, what role it plays in architecture, product design and the role it will play on the Deerupt. Digging into the adidas’s archive the DEERUPT takes inspiration from the brand’s 80s marathon training footwear yet presents it as a brand new concept. The lightweight, minimalistic sock construction is not only comfortable but easy to wear and style.
