Sneakersnstuff went to the beach for inspiration for this one. Let’s present the beach inspired version of one of ASICS most classic silhouettes – the GT-Cool Express. With inspiration from the oceans and sunny beaches, the ASICS GT-Cool Express ”A day at the beach” is created as a tribute to the hot summer days we all crave for.
How much do you miss Summer when it’s over? Well, you can not really compare our longing for summer as long as you don’t live on the North Pole. After months and months of total darkness, we can finally enjoy one or two months of summer (or three, if we’re lucky). We never really know when the Summer is over so that’s why a day at a beach will be remembered many months after the sunburn has disappeared.
The ASICS GT-Cool Express ”A day at the beach” has a nice upper made of suede and mesh in a dazzling blue colorway with aquarius details. The lateral side is all blue but on the medial side we flipped the mesh to white. The midsole is a mix of white and off-white. The shoes also comes with three pairs of laces in dazzling blue, aquarius and white.
The Sneakersnstuff exclusive ASICS GT-Cool Xpress ”A day at the beach” will be available at the Sneakersnstuff stores in Stockholm, London, Paris and online May 28th.
